MEGHAN MARKLE, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry took a commercial flight to Rome after receiving fierce backlash over their use of private jets last month.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to be attending the wedding of their friends Misha Nonoo and her boyfriend Michael Hess. Landing in Italy yesterday, the royal couple is expected to attend a lavish ceremony at the weekend. Reports claim the Royal’s journey to Italy was on a “commercial” flight afterHarry and Meghancame under fire for taking four private jets in 11 days after speaking about climate change.
They were were criticized at first for being pictured with their son boarding a private jet to Nice last month.
The royal couple were then seen taking another private jet with (Archieto Ibiza days later.
Harry and Meghan are said to have taken a public flight for this journey.
A source told The Sun: “They did fly commercial as Meghan was a bit stung by the criticism over her and Harry’s use of private jets. ”

They also revealed baby Archie would not be joining his parents on their trip.
The source added: “They’ve left Archie at home but it’s only for a couple of days and they will be back on Saturday.”
Two weeks ago Meghan jetted to New York to watch pal Serena Williams play in the final of the US Open, leavingHarryand Archie back at Frogmore Cottage.
The wedding is very important to the Royal couple so did not want to miss it.

The source added: “Misha helped introduce Harry toMeghanand the two women are the best of friends.
“Meghan wasn’t going to miss her wedding for the world.”
Ms Nonoo is said to be a very close friend of Meghan’s and was recently hired as the designer behind her new Smart Works collection.
Many insiders claim she acted as a matchmaker for the Duke and Duchess.

The 31 – year-old is marrying her oil tycoon boyfriend in what is set to be a luxurious and star-studded ceremony.
Duke and Duchess will most likeley be joined by more royals as Ms Nonoo’s is also friends with PrincessBeatriceand Princess Eugenie.
Princess Eugenie and Ms Nonoo have mixed in the same crowds for many years.

She attended Ms Nonoo’s pop up event in New York last month.
Eugenie and Beatrice attended Ms Nonoo’s venetian wedding to her ex-husband Alexander Gilkes in 2012.
Meghan and Harry will be joined at the wedding by US President Donald Trump’s daughterIvanka Trump, Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

It will be a busy week for Meghan and Harry as the wedding comes just days before they are due to embark on a royal tour.
Their venture will be the first official trip as a family of three as they head toSouth Africa.
Meghan will be staying in South Africa during the 10 – day trip while Harry is due to make a number of stop-off’s in other countries.
Fans were disappointed to find out the couple will not be showing off baby Archie during their South African airport arrival.
