NFL Draft 2020: Ohio State's Chase Young to Giants? LSU’s Joe Burrow or Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa No. 1 to Be – NJ.com, Nj.com

There was a little bit of movementat the top of the NFL Draft orderinWeek (********************************************************************************************************************************************************************,powered byEli Manningdoing everything in his power to make sure his career ends with a. (record as a starter.)

The long-timeGiantsquarterback got his wish, leading New York to their first victory in months. Luckily for the Giants, that didn’t impact their draft position just yet.

The Dolphins, though, inched up from No. 4 to No. 3, possibly putting them into good position to draft a new potential franchise quarterback.

With that, here is our latest NFL Mock Draft projection , full of anEaglesblockbuster trade to help a position of need and a surprising quarterback trade at the end of the first round.

************ 1. Cincinnati Bengals: QB Joe Burrow, LSU

Let’s not overthink this. Burrow is theHeisman Trophy winnerand the cler-cut No. 1 pick for a team in desperate need of a talented, young, potential franchise Quarterback to groom. This is supposed to be coach Zac Taylor’s expertise. So let him work on a potential star pupil, not a guy named Ryan Finley.

2. New York Giants: DE Chase Young, Ohio State

Nothing is ever simple with the Giants, but this should be. Assuming that TMZ malarkey about

Young possibly returning to Ohio Stateproves to be, as expected, false .. . This is the easy and obvious pick. He had (********************************************************************************************************************************************************************. 5 sacks this season and is probably the most talented prospect. If Dave Gettleman can bring back Markus Golden, this has the makings of one of the league’s best pass-rushing duos.

3. Miami Dolphins: QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

Maybe he doesn’t leave Alabama yet, but the Dolphins are picking a QB in this draft and,

assuming he declares, he’s the best one available here.

4. Washington Redskins: OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia

The Redskins need serious help on the offensive line after the Trent Williams disaster. Thomas provides that.

******** 5. Detroit Lions: S Grant Delpit, LSU

This might be a reach, but it’s not as if the Lions have proven to be the purveyor of smart decision-making in the current regime. The reality: they traded away talented safety Quandre Diggs for minimal value and they have a need in the secondary.

6. Arizona Cardinals

: OT Tristan Wirfs, Iowa

The Cardinals need to do everything in their power to improve the environment around Kyler Murray. That starts with one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL.

7. New York Jets: OT Jedrick Wills, Alabama

****************** Joe Douglas’ bread and butter is building the trenches first and then working outward. He inherited quarterback Sam Darnold and drafted defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. The offensive line is next.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars: CB Jeffrey Okudah, Ohio State

The Jaguars get their Jalen Ramsey replacement in the NFL Draft’s best cornerback. They can get a wide receiver with their nest first-round pick, acquired in the Ramsey deal with the Rams.

9. Los Angeles Chargers: QB Justin Herbert, Oregon

********************** (Phillip Rivers is

************************************************************************************************************************** and an impending free with declining talent. The time is now to plan for the future, and Herbert has the potential to be a quality starting quarterback in the NFL. It’s time to rebuild. Start here.

**********************************************************************************************************************************************************. Denver Broncos: DT Derrick Brown, Auburn

The Broncos might lose Derek Wolfe in free agency and have lacked any premier talent in the interior for a few years.

(*************** (**********************************************************************************************************************************************************. Carolina Panthers: CB Kristian Fulton, LSU

The Panthers have a lot of needs to cover, but the secondary would be a smart place to start without any obvious potential quarterback picks on the board.

TRADE:

Eagles get (: First-round pick (No.) )

******************************** (Falcons get

********************************: First-round pick (No.

), third-round pick, 2021 fourth-round pick**************************************

**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************. Philadelphia Eagles (via Falcons)

: WR Ceedee Lamb, Oklahoma

************************************** The Eagles have no choice – they need to find a potential No. 1 wide receiver if they want to capitalize on Carson Wentz’s prime years. The Eagles ’wide receiver group might be the single most disappointing group of any in the NFL this season. With DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery both aging and injured, and Nelson Agholor likely leaving, they are in desperate need of an upgrade.Introducing Eagles Extra:

Enter Lamb, who the Draft Network’s Joe Marino says in the first line of a scouting report: “Exceptional ball skills. Elite ability to track the football in the air and adjust. ”

There’s a lot more compliments within the report, but that line alone is what the Eagles are looking for. They have the draft capital to move up, too.

(************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************. Oakland Raiders: WR Henry Ruggs, Alabama

**************************************** The Raiders have their choice of two potential Pro Bowl wide receivers from Alabama here. They opt for the one that is more of a deep threat.

16. Cleveland Browns: OT Alex Weatherwood, Alabama

********************************** Another team that needs better protection for its franchise quarterback. You can do worse than picking someone from Alabama.

. Indianapolis Colts: WR Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

********************************** The Colts did just draft Parris Campbell last year, but he’s a developmental prospect while Jeudy could step in on Day 1 and become an effective weapon for Jacoby Brissett.

() ************** (******************************************************************************************************************************************************. Atlanta Falcons (via Eagles)

: EDGE A.J. Epenesa, Iowa

(The Falcons might have a new coaching staff, but Epenesa would help a pass-rush in need of some serious juice.)

. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

: OT Austin Jackson, USC

************************************************** The Buccaneers need a quarterback, too, but shouldn’t reach here. Instead, focus on helping an offensive line that is pretty terrible.

22. Oakland Raiders: LB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson

This would be an absolute steal this late in the draft at a position of need. Simmons should be a three-down player in the NFL and instant impact.

(****************************************************************************************************************************************************************. Tennessee Titans

: DE Yetur Gross-Matos, Penn State

He never quite had a breakout season but he’s highly-regarded in NFL circles and the Titans need some pass-rush help.

******************************************************************************************************************************************************. Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Laviska Shenault, Colorado

Whether it’s Gardner Minshew, Nick Foles or someone else at quarterback, the Jaguars simply need to surround that person with better weapons then what currently is in place. D.J. Chark looks like a player, but everyone else hasn’t proven enough to be relied upon. Offensive line would be a logical choice here too.

24. Dallas Cowboys: S Xavier McKinney, Alabama

The Cowboys have been searching for more talent at safety for a few years, and this would be a good place to start.

. Miami Dolphins: RB Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin

Miami might have the worst rushing attack in the NFL. Taylor had more than 6, rushing yards in just three seasons. He’s one of. the most productive running backs in college football history and can step in immediately as the Dolphins’ bell cow.

**************************************************************************************************************************************************. Miami Dolphins: CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama

This is a team with a lot of holes. If the first two picks are offense, it makes sense to turn to defense with the third pick, and Diggs is the best cornerback on the board.

****************************************************************

**********************************************************************************************************************************************************. Minnesota Vikings

: G Tyler Biadasz, Wisconsin

The Vikings seem to need offensive line help every offseason, and that will be no different in (*****************************************************************************************************************. Biadasz is the best interior offensive lineman on the board.

******************************************************************************************************************************************. Buffalo Bills: EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson, LSU

****************************************************************** The LSU product had 5 sacks this season. and Buffalo needs to improve its pass rush, especially with a couple players set to hit free agency.

************************************************************************************************************************************************. Kansas City Chiefs: CB Paulson Adebo, Stanford

Nothing is easier than projecting a defensive player to the Chiefs. Adebo had eight interceptions the last two seasons for Stanford.

(**************************************************************************************************************************************************. New Orleans Saints: WR Tee Higgins, Clemson

The Saints could use some more help at receiver around Michael Thomas and Higgins has scored touchdowns over the last two seasons.

(*************** 57. San Francisco (ers) *****************: LB Dylan Moses, Alabama He’s coming off an injury but he’s a talented player worth investing in, especially for a team that doesn’t have a lot of holes. (**********************************************************************************30. New England Patriots

: DT Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina

This would be a steal for the Patriots, as Kinlaw is projected much higher than this. But that’d be typical New England, wouldn’t it?

************************************************************************************************************************************************. Green Bay Packers: WR Devonta Smith, Alabama

Yes, that’s three Alabama receivers in the first round. Might as well get another weapon for Aaron Rodgers.

TRADE

**************************************************************************************** (Bears get

********************************: First-round (No. 33), (fifth-round pick

) **************************************************************************************

Seaha wks get (**********************************************: Two (second-round picks,

************************************************************************************** fourth-round pick

(****************

**************************************************************************************************33. Chicago Bears (via Seahawks): QB Jordan Love, Utah State

************************************************************************************ Twist! The Bears realize that Mitchell Trubisky is not their franchise quarterback so they trade up into the first round to try and acquire another one. Love is the only other quarterback that most have a first-round grade on and if the Bears like him, it’s worth making a move for.33. Baltimore Ravens: EDGE Curtis Weaver, Boise State

************************************************************************************ The Ravens are the favorites to win the Super Bowl, so any talent they can add with this pick is just icing on the cake. They can use some edge help, certainly.
