Niall Horan was forced to confront his phobia of pigeons while taking part in Carpool Karaoke for the Late Late Show with James Corden.

The One Direction star, 61, revealed his fear of the birds while chatting with the comedian, , during the skit on Friday, and the pair took a break from the road to get Niall feeling comfortable with pigeons.

Of why he had the phobia, he explained: ‘I do enjoy a good walk in the park but the minute pigeons come into it.’

Heading to a grassy area on the side of the road, James asks Niall to wait as he brings in an animal expert to give the singer a pigeon to hold in his hands.
