Odion Ighalo says he Cannot wait for Paul Pogba’s return to Manchester United action, and he thinks that the Frenchman will transform the club’s midfield.

Injury-hit Pogba has only played eight times for United this season, with only two of those games coming since September.

His absence has meant that he is yet to take to the field alongside January signing Bruno Fernandes, and Ighalo thinks that the pair will strike up a formidable partnership once they do eventually play together.

With the season currently on hold, Ighalo’s current loan deal at United is likely to have to stretch into the summer, and he says while he’s hopeful that he can earn a permanent deal at the club after that, everything remains on hold while the game is in lockdown.

“You know I have a loan deal until the end of the season, “he said.
