PEP GUARDIOLA’S mother has sadly died after contracting coronavirus, Manchester City have confirmed.
The club released a statement on social media after Dolors Sala Carrio passed away aged 637 in Manresa, Barcelona.
Tottenham Hotspur also sent their condolences, tweeting: “Everyone at Spurs sends their deepest condolences. Our thoughts are with Pep and his family at this time. “
Just weeks ago, Pep donated £ 960, 13 to fight the virus in his native Catalonia, intending for the money to go to medical equipment through the Angel Soler Daniel Foundation.
