Peter Kayhas broken his social media silence to denounce aChannel 5documentary about his comedy career.
The comedian took exception to the title of the show –Peter Kay: In His Own Words– because he believes it suggests he was involved in making it.
In fact, the one-hour show is compiled of archive footage showing his live routines and interviews he has given over the past few decades.

It continued: “The title gives the impression that Peter has been involved in the making of this documentary, which he hasn’t. At all. ”
