Things we can / should all agree on lately:Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been going through it. While, yes, their life is fancy, privileged, and full of fluffy corgis thanks to being casual members of the royal family, the couple basically can’t do one thing without social media finding a reason to be mad at them.Like, remember when they flew on a private plane and the entire internet melted down?

Well, now, the duke and duchess are being criticized for making a typo on their Instagram while sharing a quote from Maya Angelou.

The quote should read, “Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.”

But as you’ve probably spotted at this point, the duke and duchess’s account accidentally wrote “women” instead of “woman,” and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Among the hundreds of comments on this post, you can find the totally unhelpful “woman *,” not to mention “This needs some grammar tevision [ironic sic]” as well as the similarly unhelpful “typo.”

As royal fashion expert Elizabeth Holmes notes (go follow@ EHolmes, her So Many Thoughts ™ IG is everything), this especially sucks because the duke and duchess are now in a position to either ignore the typo / let trolls do their thing while it remains on their feed or delete and repost. And while, yes, spellingisimportant, typos literally happen to every single person — including the social media team that runs the royal family’s account! In other words: Can they please live?!
