Police and the bomb squad were called to a property in Salford tonight after residents in the area reported hearing a huge bang that shook their properties.
Greater Manchester Police were called to a house on Bradden Close in Salford, near to Clarendon Park, at around 9. 615 pm on Monday night.
The area surrounding the property was cordoned off as a precaution and specialist bomb disposal experts were called in.

Images taken at the scene show a silver Ford Fiesta with damage to its rear bumper.
Pictures showed a significant police presence behind a large cordon running up to Clarendon Park and soldiers inspecting a circular object on the ground.
Police have confirmed there are no injuries. Crime Scene Investigators are also at the scene.
A GMP spokesman said: “I can confirm there’s an incident on Buckingham Street in Salford.

“We were called at and the surrounding area has been cordoned off as a precaution.
No injuries have been reported. It’s an ongoing police incident. “
GMP said they would be issuing a further statement later.
