President Trump Thinks Fox News Pollsters “Suck” After Shocking Majority of Voters Back Impeac …, Crypto Coins News

President Trump lashed out against Fox News on Thursday after the agency’s poll showed record support for his impeachment, as the fallout from the Ukraine scandal continued to unfold.

Fox Pollsters “Suck,” Trump Says

President Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to complainabout a Fox News poll showing that a majority of voters support his forceful removal from office.

The president tweeted:

“From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck. But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days.

He added:

With people like Andrew Napolitano, who wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice & I turned him down (he’s been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesn’t deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I’m President!

The actual survey, which was administered Oct. 6-8, showed51% of registered voters believe the president should be impeached and removed, an increase of 9 percentage points from July. An additional 4% say Trump should be impeached but not removed. Forty percent of voters called for no impeachment, down from 45% in July.

While the figures paint a damning picture of the president’s approval rating, they need to be taken with a grain of salt since roughlyhalf of those polled were Democrats, according to Andrew Clark, who served as Trump’s rapid response director during the election.

Democratic Impeachment Inquiry Continues

Last month, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced she is moving ahead witha formal impeachment inquiry of President Trumpover allegations that he pressured his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate Democratic presidential candidate Joseph Biden and his son.

The allegations stemmed from a whistle-blower complaint against Trump that was based on a July 25 phone call with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskiy. In that phone call, Trump asked the president of Ukraine to investigate Biden and his son, Hunter, who sat on the board of a Ukrainian gas company.

Trump alleges thatthe impeachment processis a form of “presidential harassment.” The administration isn’t cooperating with the ongoing investigation, according to a letter sent by the president’s lawyers.
