Manchester Unitedstriker Marcus Rashford has been ruled out of Monday’s Premier League clash againstArsenal.

Rashford suffered a groin injury and was forced off in the second-half of Sunday’s 2-0 defeat atWest Hamat theLondonStadium.

The Red Devils are already without Anthony Martial who is suffering with a thigh injury, while Romelu Lukaku or Alexis Sanchez have been farmed out on loan to Inter Milan.

Marcus Rashford is out of Monday’s eagerly-anticipated Premier League clash against Arsenal

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes the England international can work his way back to fitness ahead of the international break in October.

‘He’s recovering,’ Solskjaer said before United were taken to a penalty shootout by lowly Rochdale after a 1-1 draw in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

‘He’s not very, very bad so we hope to see him before the international break.’

The United striker limped off after suffering a groin injury in the defeat at West Ham on Sunday

Diogo Dalot and Angel Gomes were also missing against Rochdale and also likely to miss the league meeting with Arsenal but they could be in contention for next Thursday’s Europa League tie against AZ Alkmaar.

‘They’re injured,’ Solskjaer added.

‘They haven’t trained the last couple of days unfortunately. Hopefully they can be back for Alkmaar next week, that’s what we’re hoping. ‘
