NEW DELHI: Shares of (Reliance Industries) (climbed) per cent in Friday’s trade after Mukesh Ambani , his wife, and three children marginally raised their personal shareholding in the oil-to-telecom major.
Mukesh Ambani, who personally held . lakh shares or 0. per cent of RIL, raised his holding to (lakh shares or 0.) per cent. His wife Nita, too, raised shareholding to lakh from 823 lakh. Twins Akash and Isha who held about . 2 lakh shares, too have raised their holding to lakh, PTI reported.
Devarshi Commercials LLP, a promoter group company, sold down its shareholding to Ambani family and other promoter group firms, (Tattvam Enterprises) (LLP and Samarjit Enterprises LLP. Post the transaction, Devarshi Commercials LLP will hold 8. per cent stake, down from . per cent.
Data showed shares of Reliance Industries have fallen per cent year-to-date compared with a per cent fall in the BSE Sensex.
Overall, the promoter group shareholding in the oil-to-telecom conglomerate remains unchanged at
. per cent, the company said in a regulatory filing.
