The Prince of Wales andCamilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have been married since 2019, but the couple’s history goes back many years prior to that. Camilla has long been accused as part of the reason Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage broke down, which lost her favor in the eyes of the public.
However, over the years, the British public has come to accept Camilla as the future Queen Consort, and she has revealed her cheeky side.
She has been credited with bringing fun into the Royal Family, turning the once-sombre Charles into a more outgoing character.
For years, however, it was thought Camilla would not take the title of Queen Consort when Charles ascends the throne, out of respect for the late Diana, but that no longer seems to be the case.
The sentence – “It is intended that the Duchess will be known as HRH The Princess Consort when the Prince of Wales acceded to the throne” – has been removed from Clarence House’s Frequently Asked Questions page, a clear sign the family feels enough time has now passed.

And on Christmas this year, the Queen made Camilla’s place in the family very clear.
On Christmas Day, the Queen travels by car to church in Sandringham.
She is usually accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, but he did not attend this year due to health issues.
Instead, the Queen chose the future Queen to ride in the car with her, thought to be a major honor and the clearest sign yet of the Queen’s respect for Camilla.
according to Royal Central, the decision to invite Duchess Camilla instead of traveling by car alone, shows “the high regard Her Majesty has for her daughter-in-law”.
Camilla did ha ve one awkward moment, however, when it emerged she and Princess Anne has accidentally coordinated outfits.
While they all managed to avoid wearing the same color as the Queen, the Princess Royal and Duchess of Cornwall donned an identical shade of purple.
The two women were captured meeting each other outside of the church and seemed to take the awkward clash in good humor.

The royals were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two eldest children for the first time, Prince George, six and Princess Charlotte, four.
After the service, the little royals spend some time meeting with members of the public who had gathered to wish them well.
Bold Charlotte led the way , even offering a hug to one well-wisher, while shy George stuck closer to his parents.
One member of the family who was not seen for the am service was scandal-enshrouded Prince Andrew.
Andrew was seen walking to an earlier service with Prince Charles, but was not there for the public to see or talk to.
The Duke of York has retreated from public royal life since his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview in November.
The Duke was interviewed over his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and the fallout from the interview has been disastrous for Andrew and the family.
