Simon Cowell finally pressed his golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent this evening after being left stunned by a – year-old who he likened to a “young Tina Turner”.

Fayth Ifel, from Swindon, appeared on BGT this evening with the full support of her whole family.

Standing in front of Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams , she admitted that she was feeling “nervous and excited “ahead of her audition.

Asked if she ever had moments where she lost her confidence, Fayth replied honestly: “I have lost my confidence a little bit with a bit of negative energy from different schools but my mum and my dad, they help me get through that, which is why I’m here today. “

Fayth then left the judges and audience stunned when she began belting out Tina Turner’s (classic Proud Mary.)

After entrancing the crowd, Fayth received a standing ovation and Simon gave her a thumbs up.

The crowd began chanting at the judges to “press the gold”.

David kicked off the comments by saying that she was “born to be a superstar”.
