The Metro have reported thatSolskjaer would reportedly RESIGN if results don’t improve.

They say he has “too much respect” for supporters to put his own personal pride at managing the club he played for ahead of what is best for the future.

But in the short term,the 46 – year-old is refusing to give up on his dream job.

He said: “I’ve never felt it’s too big for me and I’m confident in what we’re trying to do and with my staff.

Solskjaer has received the full backing of executive vice chairman Ed Woodward in the run up to Sunday’s visit of table toppers Liverpool.

That is despite just five wins from their last 23 games under him and the worst start to a season in Years.

They could even be in the bottom three by Sunday night.
