Solskjaer reveals what has changed behind the scenes at Manchester United – Manchester Evening News, Manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes the mood atManchester Unitedhas changed in the year since he arrived at the club.

The Norwegian is approaching his one-year anniversary as manager and, after a week of impressive results with victories against Tottenham, Manchester City and AZ Alkmaar, he can see his plans finally coming together.

And, whileSolskjaerhas been impressed with what he’s seen on the pitch, it’s the behavior and mood off it that has pleased him the most.

“The mood,” Solskjaer replied when asked what has been the most encouraging change over the past year. “Do you know, the want and the need to do your best for the club. The being part of the family. Because you are a big part of this family when you work for us.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re Kath on reception, or Mike behind the cooking plates, or if you’re Alec doing the kit, or Ian, or us as coaches, or the players. Because we are one team and we’ve always been that. And I’m getting more and more confirmation on that by ex-players coming back in, who have not been there for many years.

“From when I have Norwegians meeting us, when other clubs, or agents, or people coming in – they get a great feel. The feedback to me is great and that’s one of the biggest things – that we’re a club with great people. “

United face Everton on Sunday for the first time since the Merseyside club hammered Solskjaer’s side at Goodison Park 4-0 back in April.

But he is confident that there will not be a similar capitulation this time around as he has got his team back on the right track.

“I can see fruits of what we’re doing. It’s starting to pop up, the seeds we were laying , and I think for us we work with these boys every day, “he said.

“We can see things moving in the right direction, in the direction we want this club to go and this team to go. And it’s not just on the pitch, it’s off the pitch as well, it’s what’s happening at Carrington with the staff there as well. We feel we’re on the right track. “
