Alex Scotthas become the latest celebrity to departStrictly Come Dancing, meaning this year semi-finalists have now been decided.
This weekend, the five remaining celebrity couples competed in the live musical special, with Alex and her professional dance partner Neil Jonesperforming a Sambato ‘Joyful Joyful’ fromSister Actthe musical.
And in tonight’s (December 1) results show, the pair were up against Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer , who performed their Foxtrot to ‘Consider Yourself’ form the musicalOliver!.

After both couples danced for a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts with a split vote.
Craig Revel Horwoodand Motsi Mabuse chose to save Alex and Neil, while Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas chose to save Chris and Karen.
However, Ballas having the deciding vote as Head Judge, it was Alex who was sent packing.
The remaining celebrities, and this year semi-finalists, include Chris Ramsey, Kelvin Fletcher, Emma Barton and Karim Zeroual.
Speaking about her time on the show, Alex said:“I’ve been a fan ofStrictlyforever so to even be here and dance here every week.
“I’ve loved every moment and I have to thank everyone, and everyone behind the scenes to make this show work.

Strictly Come Dancingreturns for the semi-final on Saturday, December 7 at 7pm, with the results show on Sunday, December 8 at 7. (pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.)
