Strictly Come Dancing: Fans stunned by Claudia Winkleman’s ‘brutal’ jibe … after she jokes that crying Karim Zoual WON’T make it to Blackpool

Strictly Come Dancinghost Claudia Winkleman left viewers in uproar on Saturday night, after she made a jibe at Karim Zoual following his lackluster performance.
The presenter joked that she would bring Karim ‘back a stick of rock’ from Blackpool if he was eliminated this week, after he was left in tears following a mistake in his Viennese Waltz .
Fans were quick to call out Claudia for the ‘savage’ dig, though other were quick to defend the star by saying the comment left them in hysterics.

Karim had taken to the floor with pro Amy Dowden to dance a Viennese Waltz to Ed Sheeran’s Give Me Love.
Despite being one of the frontrunners this series, the CBBC presenter made two ‘big mistakes’ during the routine, with the judges stating it must have come down to nerves.
Finishing with a score of 30 points out of 40 – which was a disappointment after topping the leaderboard last week – Karim tearfully told Claudia that he was ‘gutted’ to have messed up the dance.

She then turned to a still-crying Karim and said: ‘We’ll also have Blackpool rock, and if you’re not there we’ll bring you some back.’
The comment sparked gasps from the audience, and Claudia attempted to backtrack by saying: ‘I don’t mean that …’

Meanwhile Saturday’s show saw Mike Bushell and Katya Jones in danger as they ended up bottom of the leaderboard with just 25 points after a ‘rigid’ Paso Doble.
Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard stormed to the top with a beautiful Waltz that earned them 39 points out of 40.
