Jamie Laing has pulled out ofStrictly Come Dancing.
TheMade in Chelseastar has been forced to leave after injuring his foot during a recording of the group dance.
He said: “I ‘ m absolutely devastated that I’m unable to continue in the competition, I was so excited to hit the dance floor!
“I would like to wish the lovely couples all the very best and hope they enjoy their time on the show to the fullest.”
Strictly‘s executive producer Sarah James added: “We are so sad that Jamie won’t be able to take part in the series, he had already lit up the ballroom during the launch show with his boundless energy and enthusiasm.
“We all wish him a full and speedy recovery.”

Jamie’s future in the competition was questioned when he was pictured out using crutches with his foot in a moon boot.
It was announced the 30 – year-old was joining the show during an appearance onLoose Women, becomingthe first reality star from the E4 show to do so.
“I am beyond thrilled to be asked to be onStrictly, the only person potentially more thrilled is my mother,” he said at the time. “I have finally become the son she hoped for!”
It’s currently unknown whether Jamie will be replaced, although it’s expected that we’ll see him in Saturday’s ( September 7) pre-recorded launch show where the celebrities are paired with professional dancers.
