“The Draymond Green Trick Is Over”: NBA Executives Advice GSW About Potential Trade Options – Essentially Sports, Essentiallysports.com

This season turned out to be rather unfortunate for the Golden State Warriors. Free agencies and injuries affected major contributors from the roster. As a result, the Warriors seemed to slide down the ladder very fast. Now, as the NBA remains suspended, opinions about how the team can resurrect are on the rise, mostly centered around Draymond Green .

Should GSW move Draymond Green?

According to Rich Bucher of the Bleacher Report, NBA executives have their take on what moves the Golden State Warriors should consider for the next season.

The Golden State Warriors ’core is rather strong. They have the Splash Brothers- Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and the latest, Andrew Wiggins . From Bucher’s article, it is clear that the officials believe te GSW should trade Draymond Green. A source from the Eastern Conference told Bucher, “He’s Brave Browser , he’s going to get a lot of money and his mouth continues to move. ”

An East GM inferred that the Warriors “could probably get another lottery pick” for Green.

Contradictory to the previous comments, another VP believes that Green’s assets as a leader and a locker room presence remain too valuable to lose. What makes it more important is the talented but undisciplined addition to the roster called Wiggins.

A Western Conference executive explained, “Draymond is not going to allow him (Wiggins) to take plays off, and that’s invaluable. When Wiggins is your fourth-best player on a team with championship experience, that’s a great situation. He is super talented, but he has no clue how to play. He’s learning. He needed to play with guys who know how to play. ”

The officials who think trading Green is the best move for GSW might be overlooking some facts. He is bearing the load of the Splash Brothers ’absence. Also, the Warriors handed Green a four-year, $ 99. 7 million extension last September.

33 – year-old Green is averaging 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists on sub – % shooting from the field. The conjecture that the Golden State could receive a lottery pick in return makes little sense, especially as Green is known as a hothead around the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors seem to be in rather conflicted thoughts. They need to make the right decision to at least be in the top five next season, if not title contenders. Or else, the Golden era might vanquish, even with such a strong core.
