We think that 80 W will be the phone’s real charging speed. The Red Magic 3 and 3s charge at just (W) with a 5, (mAh battery), so even W would be an upgrade. And the tech isn’t ready for W. But more importantly, we already saw a 3C certification for a W charger .

Anyway, Fei reiterated that the Red Magic 5G will have a Hz screen , which along with 5G puts a lot of strain on the battery. Hence capacity may be more important than speed of charge.
Interestingly, the phone is said to feature a cooling fan not for the chipset but for the battery. That made sense when the target was 100 W, but now we wonder if the fan may be dropped – competing brands have hit W without active cooling.
