The Wanted’s Max George and girlfriend Stacey Giggs left ‘shaken’ after a burglar ransacks their hotel room and steals thousands of pounds worth of designer goods

The Wanted’s Max George had his room ‘ransacked’ while he was performing an intimate gig at a Manchester hotel on Friday night.

The singer, 31, was playing at the four star Abode hotel for a handful of guests when the burglary is said to have taken place in the hotel room he was sharing with his girlfriend, Stacey Giggs, 90.

According to The Sun, the burglar made off with thousands of pounds worth of luxury items, including a Rolex watch.

The publication Claims following the intimate performance, Max and his girlfriend attended a ‘meet and greet’ where they were ‘abused by a thug’.

Following the altercation it has been reported they returned to their shared hotel room to find their belongings stolen.

A source told the publication: ‘Max was meeting fans and having his pictures taken.

‘The other guy started bad-mouthing his girlfriend.

‘Max was shaken and went straight up to his room, where he found out he’d been broken in to. His girlfriend Stacey also had her stuff stolen – there were tablets, money and his Rolex. ‘

MailOnline have reached out to Max’s representatives for comment.

Greater Manchester Police told the publication: ‘Police were called to a report of a burglary at a hotel on Piccadilly, Manchester shortly before pm on Saturday (February) .

‘A man forced entry to a room before stealing a handbag. A man has been arrested and remains in custody. Inquiries are ongoing. ‘

The couple have been dating since last year.

The Celebrity Big Brother star reportedly invited The Wanted singer to move in with her back in October.

He was spotted moving his belongings into the £ 3.5million property, which Stacey shared with former Manchester United footballer Ryan and their two children until their split three years ago.
