Douglas Limaavenged a key loss in his career on Saturday when he claimed the Bellator welterweight title fromRory MacDonaldin the Bellator 232 main event.
On top of taking the belt, Lima 20 – 7 MMA, 14 – 3 BMMA) came out the winner of the grand prix tournament when he earned a unanimous decision win over MacDonald (21 – 6-1 MMA, 3-2-1 BMMA) to take the $ 1 million prize in the headlining bout, which took place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., And streamed on DAZN.
