Another day, another viral Trump tweet. Fresh off atweetstormabout Saudi oil attacks, President Trump defended himself against claims he’s profiting from the presidency. After listing all the ways he says the “Radical Left Democrats” have failed, he knew he really needed to drive his point home. So he ended with the question on nobody’s mind until four hours ago: “Obama Netflix?”

… .for the privilege of being your President – and doing the best job that has been done in many decades. I am far beyond somebody paying for a hotel room for the evening, or filling up a gas tank at an airport I do not own. These Radical Left Democrats are CRAZY! Obama Netflix?

Trump’s Best Stuff Since “Covfefe”

“Obama Netflix?” Has already struck fire to the internet, and Twitter comedians are rushing to harvest the fertile material. We haven’t seen a gaffe like this since“covfefe,”and the reactions are hilarious.

The memes were out in full-force, from a presidential reaction:

The Real Story Behind the Tweet

In Trump’s defense, his tweet doesn’t makezerosense. The president is facing heat from two lawsuits that claim he violated theforeign emoluments clauseof the constitution. The case, brought forward by more than 200 Democrats claims:

“Trump, has a financial interest in vast business holdings around the world that engage in dealings with foreign governments and receive benefits from those governments.”

At the end of his tweet, Trump was most likely referring to former President Barak Obama’snew Netflix deal. He probably sees the lucrative partnership as unfair given that Obama is profiting off of his presidency. Unfortunately, he forgot to add in all of those extra words. Again, in his defense, his tweet did reach the maximum allotted 280 characters. ************

‘Obama Netflix’: The Next Great Streaming Network?

Trump’s lack of context might have created the next major competitor in the streaming market. People on Twitter are itching to sign up for Obama Netflix:

I don’t know what this Obama Netflix is… but where TF can I subscribe?

° Healthy homestyle Cooking show with Michelle
° Binge worthy documentary about Obama as told by his barber
° A college dorm room make over series by Sasha
° Am animal rescue show with Malia

Yes. Please.pic.twitter.com/WwNAMDQXhV

I’d prefer Obama Netflix over Trump TV

– opher Christopher Zullo (@ChrisJZullo) (September) , 2019

If there’s a lesson in all this, it’s that we should follow Trump’s lead and start ending our tweets with questions without context. It just makes the internet more fun.
