CORONAVIRUS fears have been sparked in York after medics in Hazmat suits were seen treating an unwell hotel guest yesterday.
Terrified witnesses saw the paramedics in protective suits going into a Staycity aparthotel in the city center.

A man was taken to hospital last night at around 8pm after becoming unwell with possible coronavirus symptoms.
His hotel room has been reportedly cordoned off, and the building set to be deep cleaned today.
The
Yorkshire Post reported the man is a Chinese national, but this was unable to be confirmed.
He is said to have arrived with two companions, but it is not known where he had initially traveled from.

A statement from hotel owners Staycity Group said: “Staycity Group have confirmed that a man staying at the group’s property in York was taken ill yesterday and is understood to be undergoing tests at a local hospital.
“Staycity is unable to confirm which hospital the three people were taken to or what the outcome of the tests are at this point.
“Until more is known the apartment containing the group’s belongings will be cordoned off, along with surrounding rooms, after which the area will undergo a thorough environmental clean and disinfection, as is company policy.”
KILLER BUG FEARS
There are no confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK , but have been tested since returning from the center of the outbreak, Wuhan.
