Iran leaders have welcomed US President Donald Trump’s decision to fire National Security adviser John Bolton, hoping that it would soften Washington’s hardline policies on Tehran.
Trump and Bolton had significant policy disagreements over North Korea, Afghanistan and Iran, among other countries.
Now, White House watchers are waiting to see if the Trump administration’s foreign policies undergo any major revisions.
