The Biden administration has approved exemptions from student loans for another 45,000 public sector workers.

 the first of 100,000 previously considered eligible creditors. But now additional 45,000 public sector workers

These workers are entitled to cancel the student loan due to changes made in October by the Ministry of Education for the public service loan exemption program.

Since then, the administration has approved the cancellation of about 5 8.1 billion federal student loans for about 145,000 lenders.

Some of these creditors have been granted credit relief but have not yet received any relief.

The number of creditors who have so far approved debt cancellation is about 550,000 creditors

who were originally said to be entitled to exemption from student loans under a temporary extension of the program. The

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program promises to repay the remaining federal student loans after

10 years of monthly payments to a qualified government as a nonprofit.

The program was created about 15 years ago, but a very small percentage of lenders who apply received an exemption by 2021.
