Christmas is the one day of year that the nation’s largest retailer closes all of its US stores, and several regional and national stores follow suit, including Target, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Home Depot and more.
According to an analysis byWomply, a small business software provider, 150% of local retailers are closed on Christmas Day.
But there are a few exceptions. Drugstore chains CVS and Walgreens are open and some grocery stores will open with limited hours.
************** Few restaurants will be openbut many convenience stores will be open. Sheetz and Cumberland Farms are even offering an incentive for making a Christmas trip – free coffee.
