ASUS admits that ROG gaming console can damage SD memory cards and will compensate damaged users for memory cards


ASUS ROG Ally, the gaming handheld console launched by ASUS, currently has a good reputation. This gaming handheld console supports the use of SD cards for storage expansion. We understand that some SD card readers in ASUS ROG Ally (2023) RC71L may not work properly, so we have extended the SD card reader warranty from 12 months to 24 months.

If you encounter problems while using the SD card reader, such as causing damage to the SD card, you can return the damaged SD card, proof of purchase, and ROG Ally handheld to the after-sales department, and ASUS will provide the user with a refund and compensate.

If the user is unable to provide proof of purchase of the SD card, ASUS will evaluate the SD card based on fair market value and then provide compensation to the user.

If the user has previously sent the ROG Ally for repair but did not receive compensation for the damaged SD card, the user can now re-contact ASUS after-sales service to discuss how to obtain compensation.

Finally, if users purchased the ASUS ROG Ally (2023) RC71L handheld console from an ASUS self-operated store, they can return it for a full refund within 90 days of purchase.
