After falling into an immediate 7-0 hole to the Cowboys, the Bills came surging back with a dominant second quarter performance on Thursday. In the second quarter alone, the Bills forced two turnovers of Dak Prescott, the second of which they turned into a go-ahead touchdown thanks to Josh Allen, who converted a wild fourth-down quarterback sneak even after fumbling the snap, and the coaching staff, which drew up a perfect trick play that resulted in a 28 – yard touchdown pass via John Brown. With former Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley also reaching the end zone earlier in the quarter, the Bills entered halftime with a six-point lead as they look to solidify their playoff position in the AFC wild-card race.
Below, we’ll be bringing you live updates and analysis as the action unfolds. After the game, this post will turn into a takeaways style recap, so be sure to check back later.

Allen is now 13 / 17 for 162 yards. One of the best games I’ve seen him play
After that 35 – yard completion, the Cowboys lost nine yards to set up third-and – 19. And now will be forced to settle for a FG with an unreliable kicker.
Bills D came into the week ranked 26 th against the run by DVOA. Cowboys might look to get Zeke going
No idea how he snuck that in there!
HATE wasting a timeout on third-and – 23. You might need that later and you’re probably not gonna pick it up here anyway
On cue, there’s a sack to force them into a third-and-long
This Cowboys defense is a complete mess. Josh Allen is picking them apart right now. Not getting nearly enough of a pass rush.
Cole Beasley cannot be stopped against his former team. Great route on third down
