Her sophomore album comesonly a year afterher debut self-titled album,Camila, and fans could not be more thrilled. Taking toher Instagram page, the “Havana” singer expressed her excitement about the album and shared some important information with her 1 million followers.

On November 13, 2019, Cabello shared all the details of her new album. Sharing what appears to be the album cover to her Instagram page, the songstress dons a dramatic red gown while couples in the background engage in romantic endeavors. Though the singer is in sharp focus, those in the background look as if they could’ve been painted, giving the album cover a slight renaissance feel.
Album release date
In the caption, Cabello revealed what her fans could expect from the new album. Though she didn’t share what they could expect sound-wise, she did express that she wanted to capture the feeling of falling in love. “I can’t believe this is happening. Romance. December 6. I just wanted this album to sound like what falling in love feels like, pretty impossible thing to do but I can say I gave it all I had, ”the “Senorita” singer shared.
Writing the songs was challenging
Cabello continued on to share how difficult it was to write the album. She shared that she went through a myriad of emotions in order to produce a body of work that she was proud of. “I’ve never lived as much life as I did writing this album. It was messy and beautiful, unforgettable and at times so painful I wish I could forget, it was excruciatingly consuming and impossible not to get lost in, it was mine… and now it’s yours, ”the 22 – year-old confessed.

The singer then surprised fans and let them know that the new album would be available for pre-order on Friday, November 15, 2019, which is also when she will be releasing her next single entitled “Living Proof.” “I hope you love it as much as I’ve loved living it. You can preorder the album this Friday and there’s a new song Living proof that comes out with the pre-order this Friday one of the first and one of my favorite songs I wrote for the album. WHOAH. Overwhelmed, ”Cabello wrote.

But, there was even more where that came from. Cabello was also sure to share that there would also be a tour accompanying the new album. Cabello’s biggest fans are already eligible to sign up for the North American leg of her tour.
