Dog The Bounty Hunter is recovering in hospital after suffering from a heart emergency.
The television sensation, 66, may require surgery after he was taken to a Colorado hospital over the weekend.
Duane Chapman was said to have raised the alert after he started suffering with chest pains.
It is believed Dog could have had a heart attack but doctors have been doing tests to determine exactly what happened.
A representative for Dog The Bounty Hunter told The Mirror: “I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep ’em coming. “
I t has been a tough time for Duane after his wife Beth passed away aged 51 in June, just three months ago.
Beth died after a battle with cancer; she was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in 2017 and she was given the all-clear by December of that year.
But the cancer returned last November and Beth confirmed she had stopped chemotherapy treatment in May.
The world famous bounty hunter shared his heartache with his legion of loyal Twitter fans as he sadly said his wife had “hiked the stairwell to heaven “.
He wrote at the time: “It’s 5: 32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side. “
The Dog’s grief wasn’t helped by the cruel burglary of many of Beth’s possessions from his shop in Colorado.
Recently, the personality laid his heartache bare when he revealed everyday was a challenge since losing his wife.
Duane said he had lost a lot of weight because he lost his appetite after Beth’s death.
He said: “Every day is a challenge, but, you know, one to 10, I’m six. I’ve lost a lot of weight but I started eating last night at a soul food restaurant we went to , and I’m trying to get back on track … I really like to dream now. “
In August, Dog The Bounty Hunter admitted he would be open to dating again but he said he made a pact with his late wife that he would never remarry.
