HALF TIME
Half time: Sterling tests Muric again but there’s no sixth goal before the break. England have been ruthless and clinical in this first half, though.
It all started so well for Kosovo. But they go in at the break four goals down and on the verge of a very heavy defeat. They’re a competent footballing side, but their defensive deficiencies have been cruelly exposed here.

Kosovo have looked good in patches tonight and will feel unfortunate to be two goals down. But the gulf in quality between the top nations and the rest in international football is clear here.

England have a third goal, but it’s controversial! Aliti is down injured on the left but England choose to play on, attacking down the right through Sancho. The youngster’s ball across is drilled at the feet of Vojvoda, who can only divert it into his own net. Kosovo aren’t happy that England didn’t put the ball out of play. And manager Challandes is shown a yellow card for his complaints.

England 2-1 Kosovo

Prediction
Kosovo are unbeaten for a reason and will provide England’s biggest challenge yet, but Southgate’s men should have enough talent to secure their fourth win of their campaign.
Southgate is expected to keep faith with experienced heads to start. England will seek to dominate the game and attack from the first whistle, with the trickery of Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling likely to cause problems.
England 3-0 Kosovo
