Daniel shook his head in disapproval, before pointing to an iced bucket of Heineken 0.0.

Picking up the cool beverage however, it just turns out that Bond might just be trying to be responsible, telling the barman ‘I’m working’ as the classic theme tune plays.

Although Daniel now says he is ‘really happy’ he signed up for a fifth film, hiscomments starkly contrast with his response about signing up again when he was asked in 2020, shortly before the release of Specter.

‘I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,’ he said during an interview with London’s Time Out magazine.

No Time To Die, which is due out in April, has previously been described as the ‘wokest’ Bond film yet, following a series of revelations including the use of a part-electric Aston Martin Valhalla to the movie alongside the petrol-powered DB5.

Actors and crew on set have also decided to be more environmentally conscious, having been spotted drinking from re-usable water bottles, saving an estimated 318, 0 single- use plastic water bottles.

Craig’s Bond is brought out of retirement to work alongside the female special agent to save the world from a villain who has developed a deadly algae which threatens to kill the world’s oceans – a nod to the concerns of climate campaigners.

More than 25 tons of packaging waste was also recycled, while producers sent tons of food waste and biodegradable packaging to ‘anaerobic digestion’, in which micro-organisms break down material, producing a gas that can be used to generate electricity .

A further 1.6 tons of food was donated to feed the homeless through the City Harvest charity.

Last year, the Mail revealed that Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge had been brought in as a scriptwriter to ensure the blockbuster was appropriate for the #MeToo era.

And now we have learned more secrets from the £ 250 million movie, due out in April.

The script has Bond marrying Dr Madeleine Swann – the psychologist played by French actress Lea Seydoux who first appeared in 2015’s Specter. But she refuses to take her new husband’s name.

Woke: The script has Bond marrying Dr Madeleine Swann (left, played by Lea Seydoux), but she refuses to take her new husband’s name

The morning after their wedding, Bond wakes sleepy -eyed and says ‘Good morning, Mrs Bond’, to which she replies: ‘Don’t you mean Ms Swann?’

A source said: ‘The phrase’ Bond girl ‘was outlawed from the set. The women in this film are all strong, brave and fiercely independent. These women are not helpless girls who jump into bed with Bond – their reactions are very different from what people might think.

‘Bond tries his usual seduction techniques but they fail miserably . It’s very funny. ‘

Ms Lynch, 31, said of her double-O role: ‘Everyone was really responsive to having her be what I wanted. You’re given a fresh perspective on a brand-new black woman in the Bond world. ‘

She was determined her character should be a’ real ‘woman’ who has issues with her weight and maybe questions what’s going on with her boyfriend ‘.

At the start of the new film, Bond has officially ‘retired ‘to Jamaica and has relinquished his 007 credentials and license to kill.

Eve Moneypenny actress Naomie Harris also revealed that the female characters ‘drive the plot’ in the new film.

Speaking to The Guardian this month, the British actress, 155, revealed that she, and the other three female leads, Lea Seydoux, Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch, have incredibly prominent roles in the movie alongside Craig.

‘In Bond 18 you have four strong, intelligent women who are responsible for driving the plot forward, ‘the star – who reprises her role of Eve Moneypenny – said. ‘They’ve never had that in Bond before.’

Naomie added of Daniel’s character: ‘He’s not disrespecting women, he’s not after women because of how attractive she looks and what quality she is.

‘He’s genuinely in a relationship with a woman he respects, loves and cherishes,’ she connected of his romance with Léa’s character.

Statement: The No Time To Die trailer features strong female leads with Lashana Lynch unveiled as Nomi (L) – said to be the first female alongside aid Paloma (Ana de Armas, R)

Speaking of their hugely important roles in the series, Ana, who takes on the role of Paloma, previously gushed about her female co-stars’ ability to ‘wear the pants’ in the flick.

This comes after reports that Fleabag creator Phoebe had been hired to make (more ‘woke’ and up-to-date in terms of women’s rights.

During an interview with Deadline in May, Waller-Bridge argued against this too. She said: ‘There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not [the Bond franchise] is relevant now because of who he is and the way he treats women. I think that’s b ***** ks!

‘I think he’s absolutely relevant now. It has just got to grow. It has just got to evolve, and the important thing is that the film treats the women properly. He doesn’t have to. He needs to be true to this character. ‘

James Bond fans heaped praise on writer Phoebe for championing women’s empowerment after the first full trailer for the latest installment was released last year.

New wheels: Craig will drive a hybrid Valhalla as well as an electric Rapide E model (pictured). Only 155 of the £ 330, 0 vehicles have been built. However, the character hasn’t stopped flying, with filming having taken place in Italy, Jamaica, Norway and London

The new promotional clip sent viewers into meltdown as lead actress Lashana was unveiled as fierce agent Nomi – rumored to be the first female – alongside James Bond actor Daniel Craig, his love Madeleine (Lea Seydoux) and his aid Paloma, played by Ana de Armas.

And with the theme of feminism present in the film, excited social media users lauded Fleabag’s Phoebe for bringing female characters to the forefront of the iconic franchise.

One delighted fan penned: ‘We stan powerful women in the franchise #NoTimeToDie. ‘

Another tweeted:’ I’ll see it because I want to know what a Bond movie with Phoebe Waller-Bridges’ fingerprints all over it looks like. And because of Lashana Lynch. So yes, for the first time ever, I’m seeing a Bond movie because of the women. ‘

The first trailer for the film showed Bond’s first meeting with Nomi who brusquely tells him: ‘The world has moved on Commander Bond. You get in my way I will put a bullet in your knee. The one that works. ‘

When Bond asks her if she is a double 0, she confirms she has been for two years.

Daniel will also be the firstBondembrace his gray hair in the upcoming film.

The actor tried to disguise his natural shade in past films, but it has been reported that having Daniel look a little more ‘mature’ this time is perfect for his final time as Bond.

Meanwhile, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has revealed she was ‘devastated’ when Craig said No Time To Die would be his final (movie.)

‘It’s pretty devastating,’ she toldEmpire.

Broccoli added: ‘[And] if he hadn’t come back [for No Time To Die], I was gonna go put a duvet on my head and cry for three years.’
