Pogba now looks set to miss the clash with Mikel Arteta’s side on New Year’s Day as he continues his comeback from injury.
His last start for Manchester United was against the Gunners on September before being plagued by an ankle injury.
He came off the bench against Watford before Christmas and then did the same for the victory over Newcastle.
It could mean thatPogbais making his own way to London and will link up with the rest of the squad in the capital instead of traveling on the train on New Year’s Eve.
Speaking after the victory at Turf Moor, United bossOle Gunnar Solskjaerhinted that Pogba could well be involved against Arsenal.
Asked if he expected his £ million man to travel to London, theManchester Unitedboss said: “Yeah, I would think so.
“When you’ve been out for such a while, it’s always going to take time to be per cent.
“He just needed another day, probably, of recovery.”
