Here’s how the NFL playoff picture looks with one game left to play in Week (*************************************************************************************:

y-1. Green Bay Packers ( (3): NFC North champions. Escape act at Detroit assures them at least a first-round bye. Pack lock into home-field advantage if (ers lose at Seattle on Sunday night.)
x-2. New Orleans Saints ( (3): NFC South champions. In bye position for now, but sit behind Packers due to inferior conference record. Saints, who can no longer clinch home field, will only secure second seed if (ers lose.)
x-3. San Francisco (ers) – 3):NFC West leader. Niners lock up division and home-field advantage by beating Seahawks in Seattle in front of a national audience Sunday night.
x-4. Philadelphia Eagles (9-7): NFC East champions. Battered team pulled away from Giants late Sunday, wrapping up the division and putting the Cowboys out to pasture.
x-5. Seattle Seahawks ( (4): Wild card No. 1. Despite surprising loss to Cardinals in Week (****************************************************************************, Hawks win NFC West and will host playoff game by completing season sweep of ers in league’s regular-season finale. However Seattle can no longer get a bye.
x-6. Minnesota Vikings ( (6):Wild card No. 2. Locked into sixth spot, they had nothing to gain Sunday.
z-1. Baltimore Ravens ( (2): AFC North champions.The road to Super Bowl LIV goes through Charm Cityfor the first time after they sewed up home-field advantage in Week (**************************************************************************************. .. which is why they rested so many key players Sunday.
y-2. Kansas City Chiefs ( (4): AFC West champions. They survived Chargers and got major assist from Dolphins to overtake New Englandfor conference’s second first-round bye.
x-3. New England Patriots ( (4): AFC East champions. Shocking loss to Miami relegates them to wild-card weekend for first time since by virtue of Week 18 loss to Kansas City. Pats have never reached Super Bowl under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady when they did not have benefit of a first-round bye. Next up: Tennessee.
x-4. Houston Texans (**************************************** (6):AFC South champions. Chiefs’ win early Sunday locked Texans into fourth slot. Houston will host Bills on wild-card weekend.
x-5. Buffalo Bills ( (6):Wild card No. 1. Lost to Jets on Sunday, but Buffalo had nothing at stake. Bills head to Houston for wild-card matchup next weekend.
x-6. Tennessee Titans (9-7):Wild card No. 2. They creamed the Texans, got Derrick Henry the rushing title … and earned coach Mike Vrabel a wild-card reunion with his former team in New England. Titans’ win officially eliminated Steelers and Raiders on Sunday.
