Nintendo game emulator Delta supports casting to TV/computer to play games in full screen for a better experience than mobile phones

A few days ago, Apple announced that it would allow retro game simulator applications to be published on the AppStore.Later, the developers of the GBA4iOS simulator launched Delta based on this simulator.this emulator is free and ad-free, with a modern design based on GBA4iOS and supports importing games through file applications.

All the user needs to do is to download the emulator and search for Nintendo or other supported games online, such as Super Mario and Contra, download the ROM package and import it.

On the iPhone, Delta imitates the previous Game Boy game console. The upper half is the game screen and the lower half is the console. Therefore, the game screen is actually smaller, but users can actually use AirPlay to cast the screen.

The Blue Dot Network test can cast Delta to Apple TV, Mac, and PlayStation. When casting, it is displayed in full screen on Apple TV and Mac, but on the mobile phone: part of the game screen shows that the screen is being cast, that is, there is no screen. Next Half of the control portion remains.

Therefore, if the user has a Mac or Apple TV, it would be better to cast the screen to a big screen to play these old games. It is a pity that it is just a screen cast after all, so it cannot be controlled with an Xbox or PS controller (PS: Please try to Connect the controller to the iPhone before casting the screen).

I don’t know if subsequent developers will launch Delta emulators for iPad and Apple TV. If Apple allows it and developers are willing to provide support, the experience of playing retro games on tablets and TVs will be even better in the future.
