Nintendo’s latest round of sales figures are in – and Switch Lite is off to a good start. In its first 11 days, Nintendo’s newest Switch Shifted 1. 95 m units worldwide.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening sold 3. 13 m copies during the same short timeframe.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses sold an impressive 2. 29 m since its launch at the end of July, while Super Mario Maker 2 has shifted 3. 93 m since the end of June.
Nintendo Switch sold just shy of 7m units total for the six months ended September 30 th (up 36 per cent year-on-year), and 58. 49 m Switch games (up 38 per cent year-on-year). Digital game sales are up considerably, Nintendo noted, with downloadable software revenue spiking 83 per cent year- on-year.
Overall, it’s a rosy picture. Nintendo Switch has now sold 41. 67 m units worldwide – on track to overtake all-time sales of the SNES before the end of the next quarter.
