Nvidia also blamed the game crash problem on the hardware quality of Intel's 13/14 generation CPUs.

Users who have used the unlocked Intel Core i9-13900K/14900K for the past six months may often encounter game crashes, especially games developed using the Unreal Engine.

In response to this issue, Unreal Engine developer EPIC has confirmed after detailed investigation that this is neither a game engine issue nor a game developer issue, and certainly not a graphics card issue. But Intel CPU has quality issues

Nvidia also blamed the game crash problem on the hardware quality of Intel's 13/14 generation CPUs.

Specifically, when overclocking/AI automatic overclocking is enabled on these processors, the game may encounter insufficient memory or game shader compilation problems, causing a crash. The solution is to disable the overclocking function in the BIOS. After disabling, this crash will occur. It can be solved, of course with some performance loss.

NVIDIA has also investigated this type of problem reported by users, but it is not known whether NVIDIA did not investigate it before or did not mention it after it was investigated. It was not until the recent release of a new version of the driver that NVIDIA, like EPIC, blamed Intel for the crash problem.

NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready 552.12 driver released on April 4thFeedback postNvidia mentioned that if users are using Intel's 13th/14th generation unlocked desktop CPUs and encounter crashing issues, they should visit the Intel website for help.

Intel’s representatives in South Korea have revealed earlier that the company is investigating this issue. The results of the investigation have not been released yet, but there is a high probability that the final solution will also solve some overclocking issues, and a recall is obviously impossible.
