Eight years ago, in order to save time and cost, Bitwarden chose the Xamarin framework so that it could cover both Android and iOS systems, but as time went on, Microsoft itself abandoned the old version of the Xamarin framework.

Bitwarden is constrained by this framework and is unable to quickly launch new features and experiences, so that the experience of Bitwarden's mobile terminals has been very poor over the years, and the interface is still relatively retro.

After several months of development, Bitwarden announced today that the new Android and iOS versions have begun testing.
