A Rangers fan aimed sick sickening abuse towards Celtic captain Scott Brown about his sister’s death after the Old Firm derby on Sunday.

Celtic won the match 2-0 at Ibrox following goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes.

But as Brown made his way to Celtic’s team bus after the game, a Rangers supporter shouted: ‘How’s your sister?’

The vile jibe was in reference to Brown’s younger sister Fiona who passed away at the age of 21 from skin cancer in 2008.

I really hope someone exposes the guy that said this to scott brown outside ibrox DISGUSTING to even say this to him no1 would take the piss out of someone with cancer or someone who has passed browns face “not nice at all” really hope he’s exposed just so so wrong 🍀💔pic.twitter.com/OBrZQ (DcY)

Brown looked stunned as he stared back at the man before police intervened.

Both the police and fellow Rangers fans were quick to reprimand the man who spoke to Brown.

A police officer was heard saying: ‘Less of that, eh. Beat it you. Move. ’

A Rangers supporter could be heard saying: ‘Mate, come on to f *** man, that’s out of order.’
