Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy box office collection: Day 7 – India Today, Indiatoday.in

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Megastar Chiranjeevi has successfully completed a week in theaters and is still holding strong at the box office. Directed by Surender Reddy, the historical period-drama was produced by Ram Charan on a humongous budget of Rs 200 crore.

The Telugu version of Sye Raa has managed to gross Rs 100 crore share at the box office at the end of seven days of its theatrical run. Trade pundits reveal that Sye Raa becomes the second film after Baahubali to collect Rs 100 crore share in a short span of time.

In RTC X Roads, Hyderabad, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is having a dream run. However, going by the box office numbers, it still stands behind Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi and Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam when compared to week 1 gross report.

At the end of 7 days in theaters, Maharshi had earned Rs 92 lakh, while Rangasthalam has raked in 89 lakh. Sye Raa is closely behind Rangasthalam by earning Rs 84 lakh in the first week.

In Ongole, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has managed to cross Rs 1 crore mark by the end of week 1. The film is reportedly running in 5 theaters and has minted Rs 1. 16 crore with a share of Rs 80 lakh at the end of seven days of theatrical run.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has a bevvy of stars including Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles. The film is based on the life of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who spearheaded a people’s movement to revolt against the British.
