Tracy Brabin, , joined This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes, , and Ruth Langsford, , today to speak about how she is dealing with constituents’ worries about the current coronavirus outbreak. As the Labor MP for Batley and Spen, the politician was a voice which needed to be heard by those watching at home. However, there were consistent technical difficulties and ITV viewers slammed the interviews as they believed they’d uncovered the reason why. Holmes did apologise for any “stress or trouble” which was caused due to the technical difficulties following the reaction online.

Adhering to the current coronavirus lockdown and social distancing measures, Brabin joined the hosts via video link from her home.
The politician spoke with the presenters via the means of FaceTime and the interview began without any hiccups.
In the midst of the chat, however, the MP started to receive calls and this meant her picture was skewered and a ringing tone could be heard coming from the background.

Viewers quickly took to Twitter as they noticed the blunder, questioning how such an error had occurred.
One wrote on the social media platform: “A scream that #ThisMorning just accidentally put an MPs phone number on screen and now she’s receiving loads of calls.”
Another added : “Only #ThisMorning can show an MPs mobile number and now they are ringing her on air. @itv, ”to which a third commented:“ Take her number off the screen. Poor woman #ThisMorning. ”
Whilst a fourth remarked:“ Do @thismorning realise that they had her phone number at the top of the screen? ? #ThisMorning #oops. ”
Eamonn added later on in the show:” In our interview with MP Tracy Brabin, some viewers – if they looked very closely – may have seen a number on screen.
“This was a technical error and we want to say sorry to Tracy for any nuisance and trouble this may have caused

This Morning viewer When the call first came through, the guest apologized for the disruption to which Holmes said it clearly showed how busy the MP was.
“ I’m not what’s going on there, ”Brabin replied, before trying to continue with the rest of the conversation.
As the technical issues continued , the screen cut from the politician at her home to the presenters on the sofa.
By the end of the interview, the live feed from the MP’s home had been taken off completely and replaced with a picture of Brabin.
An ITV spokesperson also said: “ Viewers may have seen a number on screen during an interview with Tracy Brabin this morning which was a technical error and we have apologized to Tracy for this error. “

This did not stop Holmes from explaining the calls might be coming from constituents or colleagues instead of viewers.
The host said: “I know it’s very annoying and irritating, but it actually illustrates that you’re not sitting there on a Good Friday on a day off, in the back garden, sunning yourself. ”
“ All my members of staff are doing their best and we’re working ten-hour days, ”she replied before the interview was wrapped up as they cut her off short of when the call should have ended.
Addressing how Tracy tried to rectify the issue, a fifth viewer posted: “What an awkward interview! Poor woman #ThisMorning. ”
A sixth simply stated: “Hahahaha so awkward #ThisMorning,” followed by a laughing emoji as they saw the lighter side of the error.
Holmes and Langsford also interviewed pop sensation Rita Ora, , after the singer has become a volunteer for the NHS.
They were also joined by her mother, Vera Sahatçiu, who has returned to the front line to help those in hospital.
Concluding the interview, the hosts clapped for the pair, thanking them for all they’re doing during the crisis.
