Following the news thatSpider-Manwillremain in the MCU after all, the man behind the mask Tom Holland has taken to social media to share his reaction.
Earlier today (September 27), Sony Pictures Entertainment and The Walt Disney Studios jointly announced that the webslinger franchise will be continuing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with athird movie, meaning fans have essentially been panicking for the last few weeks for no reason at all.
To celebrate the news, Holland took to Instagram to share a clip of that iconic scene from The Wolf of Wall Street, in which Leonardo DiCaprio declares to an office full of employees: “I’m not f *** ing leaving! “
Last month, Holland opened up about Spider-Man’s temporary split from the MCU, tellingEntertainment Weekly: “It’s been five amazing years. I’ve had the time of my life. Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life.
“It’s going to be so fun, however we choose to do it. The future for Spider-Man will be different, but it will be equally as awesome and amazing, and we’ll find new ways to make it even cooler. “
However, normality has now been restored and when Spider-Man returns for the newly announced third film, it’ll be like none of this ever happened.

It seems as though the third movie will be part of Phase 4, as the release date has been set for July 16, 2021 – afterDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessbut beforeThor: Love and Thunder.
As part of the new deal between Sony and Disney, Spider-Man will also appear in a future Marvel Studios movie, but we don’t know which one yet.
