Dele Alli is growing into the game – but he just seems slightly rusty with his final pass in the final third.
Further down the pitch, however, he seems more at ease. As Spurs break on the counter-attack Alli flicks a spinning pass round the corner to Aurier before bursting away on the turn. He receives the ball inside the Bayern box, but his pass to Kane is cut out.

Bayern are beginning to break more frequently are we enter the final ten minutes of the half, as the game begins to stretch.

Vertonghen goes down clutching the back of neck after jumping with Lewandowski for the ball. The Bayern striker did appear to use an arm for extra leverage, but there’s nothing innocuous about that one – just two units competing for the ball!

SON CLOSE AGAIN! Sissoko and Dele Alli link-up well on the left-hand-side to leave Alaba chasing shadows.
Alli almost loses possession but steadies himself just enough to poke through a pass to Son . Again, it’s an almost instant turn-and-shoot from the South Korean, but his effort sneaks past Neuer’s post, though the big German almost certainly had that covered.

With no Eriksen on the pitch, Kane eyes up a free-kick from all of 25 yards. The England captain gets some dip on it, but not nearly enough, and it’s floats over Neuer’s crossbar.

It’s a game of symmetry at the moment as Bayern go down the other end and win two corners in quick succession.
For the visitors, it’s Coutinho who receives the ball outside the area and tries a curled effort – but it’s too easy for Lloris.

Spurs has responded well since conceding and win a second corner in as many minutes.
It’s a poor delivery from Ndombele but Bayern’s clearance is hooked back into the danger zone by Danny Rose. The ball’s brought down by Son on the left-side of the 18 – yard box, and the he jinks his way into a more central position before bending an effort at goal, but it’s a comfortable save from Neuer.

Spurs ‘lead lasted just over three minutes, and it’s Kimmich who levels proceeding with a brilliant effort from outside the box – placing it beyond Lloris’ reach into the side netting.
Again though, the chance came down Tottenham’s left flank …

Son finally gets his goal against Bayern! Ndombele has been so impressive here and for the third time already in this match he finds Son.
Unlike the previous two occasions, Son is this time on the right of the box, and he hit it low across Neurer and into the bottom corner of the net.

Ummm …. how do we describe this one. Coman slides in to clear possession and Aurier attempts to jump out the way, but mistimes it badly and lands two-footed on Coman’s thigh.
It’s adjudged to me accidental, but it didn ‘t look good!

First chance for Tottenham! Sissoko wins back possession and finds Ndombele in the center of the park, and the Frenchman threads a beautifully waited pass to unleash Heung-min Son at goal.
The South Korean, slightly towards the left of the box, drills the ball low but Neurer keeps it out.

A simple lofted pass from Pavard releases Coutinho down the right flank. Spurs manage to cut out the danger in the end, but they already look vulnerable in the wide areas.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Bayern
Tottenham have had a frustrating start to the season, going out of the Carabao Cup to Colchester and dropping Premier League points to sit 10 points behind leaders Liverpool.
Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga, but have drawn two of their opening six games, and are not the attacking force they once were.
Still, Philippe Coutinho is in superb form, and both he and Robert Lewandowski could cause Spurs some real problems.
