The England international was on the Red Devils’ transfer wishlist back in the summer after flourishing in the Bundesliga last season.

With no Champions League football to offer, however, Manchester United were unable to convince Sancho into making the move to Old Trafford. He previously came through the ranks at Manchester City but that isn’t believed to be an issue.

And 90 min claim United are still confident of securing the £ (million-rated) – year-old’s signature in the future.

Chelsea wish list

Chelsea have shortlisted three potential signings ahead of the January transfer window.

The Blues are still serving a two-window ban, but are planning to bolster their ranks IF their transfer suspension is lifted.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim Chelsea have their sights set on Chievo midfielder Emanuel Vignato, Atalanta star Ruslan Malinovskiy (Sportarena) and Bournemouth’s 22 – year-old Lewis Cook (Daily Mail).

Frank Lampard is eager to bolster his ranks having been unable to make any signings since his appointment.

Neymar transfer blocked

Neymar could find his ro ute back to the Nou Camp blocked by some among Barcelona’s membership.

That’s according to superstar Lionel Messi, who claims not everyone at the club would like to see the Brazilian forward complete a transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

“It is difficult to bring him back,” the Argentina international told Metro 95 .1 in Buenos Aires. “Firstly, because it was difficult to see him leave, secondly because of how he left.

“ There are people from the club and the members who do not want him to return. If it is for sports, Neymar is one of the best in the world, but I understand all the other factors. ”

Nemanja Matic release clause

Inter Milan are worried Manchester United will take action to prevent them from signing Nemanja Matic.

Antonio Conte is planning a January raid for Matic, 31, whose contract expires in June 2020.

The Serbia international will be free to sign a pre- contract agreement with clubs outside England and join on a free transfer.

However, Ed Woodward and Co. have the option to extend his deal for another year and Corriere dello Sport claim Inter are worried United will activate the clause.
