TSMC's lithography machine is equipped with a remote self-destruct function

TSMC, the world's largest advanced chip foundry, has installed a remote self-destruct function for its most advanced lithography machine – an extreme ultraviolet lithography machine from the Dutch company ASML – in case of emergency. According to Bloomberg, the move is to ease U.S. concerns.
