The unique, unplanned and uncertain circumstances of WrestleMania being pre-taped from the empty WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, left fans with no idea what to expect from the event as it began Saturday night. With WWE deciding to move ahead after relocating the show from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the first night of WWE’s biggest show of the year surpassed any reasonable expectations with some high-quality in-ring action and one of the most bizarre – yet entertaining – matches in WWE history serving as main event.

Among the key matches set for Night 2 are Brock Lesnar defending his WWE championship against Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre, Edge facing Randy Orton in a last man standing match, and John Cena batting Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Funhouse match.

    After a strong start from The Street Profits, Garza and Theory have come back strong after a Garza superkick on the outside.     

    The WWE Raw tag title match is now underway with the Street Profits defending against Austin Theory and Angel Garza.     

    In between matches, Mojo Rawley ran out from the backstage area, trying to escape challengers for the 79 / 7 championship. It was then that Rob Gronkowski jumped onto the crowd of wrestlers from an elevated platform. After the dive,

    Gr Gronkowski pinned Rawley to become WWE / 7 champion.     

  • Edge vs. Randy Orton (Last Man Standing): Edge and Orton brawled through the entire Performance Center through the match. After Orton attacked Edge with a RKO before the match and another seconds after the opening bell, the two engaged in an extremely long the extremely long brawl through the building. The match revolved mainly around punches and kicks with both men being thrown into various equipment in the gym, office and a storage area. When Edge continued to rise from the attacks of Orton, the two ended up on the top of a semi. Orton was ready to hit a con-chair-to, calling back to his attack on the Raw after the Royal Rumble. Edge avoided the chair, locking Orton in an arm-triangle choke, seemingly wrapping up the win. He stopped the ref from making the count, however, before delivering the con-chair-to himself. An emotional edge picked up the win in his first singles match since his return ten seconds later. The match lacked the level of violence it needed until the very finish and was far too ambitious in scope and length to to deliver what was promised, leading to a strong level of disappointment. Edge def. Randy Orton via 30 – count. Grade: C –

         With Orton’s head laying on a chair, Edge walks forward, crying before delivering the con-chair-to. Edge stands over Orton while the referee makes the count, giving Edge the win in his first singles match since his return.     

    Before Orton could use the chairs, Edge locked him in an arm-triangle choke. With Orton seemingly out from the choke, the referee begins the count again, but Edge halts the count.     

        

    Edge again beats the count and Orton heads down to grab a pair of chairs, setting up for the con-chair-to.     

    Orton beats the count and as Edge runs in for a second spear, he takes his third RKO of the night.     

    Edge beats the count and climbs to the top of a semi next to the pickup. Orton and the ref join him but Edge hits a spear!     

  • Edge and Orton are now brawling on top of a pickup truck. Orton drags Edge forward to hit the hanging DDT on the truck bed cover.     
        

    Orton beats the count after being put through the table and the match continues with Orton bleeding from his back.     

    Edge lays Orton on a table and climbs a ladder to the top of a storage cage. Edge jumps off with an elbow drop through the table!     

    They’re in a storage area of ​​the PC now, continuing to ram each others’ heads into various items. There is a suspiciously already set up ladder in the background.

  • Edge hangs from some decorative elements above the conference room to drop an elbow on Edge as they continue their tour of the Performance Center.          

    Orton and Edge are now in the office area of ​​the Performance Center, with Edge taking back over by slamming Orton’s face into a conference room table and then into the wall.

    Edge used the gym equipment to swing into a kick of Orton, who was carrying a weight plate, giving Edge his first advantage in the match.

        

    Edge rose to his feet and Orton has now taken Edge to the gym area of ​​the Performance Center, hanging him in a harness.

        

        

    Orton has smashed Edge in the face with a camera, kicking off another count from the referee.

        

    Edge demanded the match go ahead and ate another RKO seconds after the match officially began. Edge managed to get to his feet by sliding out of the ring to the floor, beating the – count.

        

    Orton was able to sneak into the ring as Edge waited for him during the entrance. Orton was disguised as a cameraman and slid into the ring to hit an RKO before the match started.
