In an emotional moment, Texans coach Bill O’Brien was presented with the game ball by quarterback Deshaun Watson following a pivotal win over the New England Patriots.

A former New England offensive coordinator, O’Brien was 0-5 against Patriots coach Bill Belichick until Sunday night.

“He kept it short and quiet, but I know on the inside he was really happy to beat his former team,” Texans safety Justin Reid said. “You could see he was really happy about that. It was super cool. It was a special moment in the locker room for us as a team. He took it upon himself. Deshaun knew how much this game meant to coach OB.”

Added Watson: “It really came from all of us. He was excited. We all kind of jumped around. He probably teared up and cried in the back.”
