JEZ NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Jeremy Corbyn tells MPs that Boris Johnson’s new Brexit deal is: “Page after page of what amounts to nothing less than a charter of deregulation and a race to the bottom.”
Labor MP Lisa Nandy then tells Mr Corbyn that some of their colleagues want to vote for Boris Johnson’s deal at second reading today so they can engage with detail of Brexit.
She adds: “This is an article of faith on the Labor Party and democracy.”
Mr Corbyn replies that “my recommendation would be to vote against this bill; but I do understand and respect the way she’s approached it ”.

PULLING IT
Boris Johnson has just confirmed that he will pull the Brexit deal bill if MPs try to block his timetable with a program motion.
The PM will then call a general election.
However, not all Tories are confident about a poll taking place.
A loyal back-bencher tells The Sun’s Political Editor Tom Newton Dunn: “How? He has tried twice and Labor MPs confirming they still won’t vote for one before Spring ”.
A loyal backbench Tory MP is skeptical about No 10 ‘ s ability to force a snap election if it pulls the WAB. “How? He has tried twice and Labor MPs confirming they still won’t vote for one before Spring ”.

NO MORE DELAY
Boris Johnson has told MPs that the British people will not stand for any further delay over Brexit.
The PM suggested that Remainers were delaying the deal to block Brexit.
He said: “The public will not be deceived Mr Speaker about the really propose of such delay.
“When we are so near, are the honourable members going to tell their constituents that at the last hurdle they handed the decision to Brussels?”

BROTHERLY LOVE
Boris Johnson’s younger brother Jo has congratulated the PM on getting a Brexit deal done.
He tells the chamber: “I never doubted it for a minute.”
The former universities minister resigned from his brother’s government over the PM’s Brexit preparations.
A bit of brotherly banter to break up the Brexit debate there.

(ANGRY ANDY)
The BBC has been forced to apologize after Andrew Marr accused Priti Patel of “laughing” as he grilled her over jobs lost after Brexit.
A spokesman for the Beeb said Mr Marr had “no intention to cause offense” afterhe scolded the Home Secretary live on air.
The pair clashed as the veteran politics presenter listed industry groups who were concerned about their futures after we leave the bloc.
Reeling off the bodies – which included those from the chemical, food and aerospace sectors – he said they had discussed “serious risks” about “consumer food safety, innovation and investment”.
However, he stopped mid-flow to admonish the Home Secretary – who appeared to be smirking as she was interviewed by video link – fuming: “I can’t see why you are laughing”.
In a statement today, the BBC said: “He [Marr] thought he saw the Home Secretary smile but now accepts this was in fact her natural expression and wasn’t indicating amusement at his line of questioning.
“There was no intention to cause offence and we are sorry if viewers felt this to be the case”.
