It’s official:Doctor Whowill return to our screens onNew Year’s Day 2020.
As confirmed in the brand new trailer above, Jodie Whittaker’s Time Lord will ring in the 12 th series with a special two-part episode titled ‘Spyfall’ written by showrunner Chris Chibnall.
Clearly a play on the 23 rd James Bond movieSkyfall, can we expect some intergalactic espionage maybe?

Doctor Whoseries 12 will consist of 10 episodes, and the subsequent entries post-New Year’s Day will air on Sundays much like the previous series.
Not only will Jodie’s Doctor reunite with her trusted pals Ryan (played by Tosin Cole), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Graham (The Chase‘s Bradley Walsh) for more adventures, she’ll also face fearsome threats in the shape of theCybermenand alien mercenariesthe Judoon.
